High speed thrills on water at 180 km/h!

At the World Endurance Championships organized by the UIM (international governing body of power boating), and the French Endurance and Speed Championship, organized by the FFM (French Powerboating Federation), which took place from April 25th to September 25th this year, CDVI, the leading manufacturer of access control systems for over the last 25 years (Digicode® flagship brand), was present at some of the most beautiful lake venues in France: Rouen, Epinay, Seurre, Caen, Evian, Macon as well as at Augustow in Poland. It was the official sponsor for two of the teams in competition, Dreams Inshore and Sun Racing Team.
Powerboating is a sport offering thrills and passion and is considered to be the supreme motorsport, bridging the gap between water and high technical performance.
David Benhammou, President of CDVI and a motorsport enthusiast, was behind this innovative high profile corporate communication strategy adding a new dimension to CDVI's brand image.
2011 is very much a year for sports sponsorship, with a number of highly mediatised meetings and events on the calendar.
The programme featured thrilling experiences, team spirit, solidarity, adventure and new discoveries.
The organization of these high profile sporting events includes large-scale public relations operations for 200 VIPs who will be CDVI's guests throughout the season, with private access to the boat parks to enjoy the excitement and start the races in pole position as well as photo sessions with Fred Loones, the star driver in the Dreams Inshore team.
This is a magnificent challenge for its first sponsorship participation at the Powerboat Championships, where sports teams, staff members and CDVI guests shared together the values of competitive sports.
We witnessed a promising sporting performance by the Dreams Inshore team sponsored by CDVI, who came third in the World Powerboat Endurance Championship and fourth in the French Championship.
